Director, Sr Corporate Counsel

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the legal profession that is reflected in their work, and be dedicated to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and at least 10 years of legal experience in a healthcare setting. Additionally, the candidate should have a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. We are also looking for an individual who is able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and counsel to the company on a variety of matters related to corporate law and healthcare.
2. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
4. Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures.
5. Research and analyze legal issues and draft memoranda outlining findings and recommendations.
6. Manage external counsel and provide oversight of their work.
7. Manage internal legal projects and lead cross-functional teams.
8. Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide updates to stakeholders.
9. Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
10. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks.
