Job Description

  1. Perform dialysis treatments: The primary responsibility of a Dialysis Technician is to provide safe and effective dialysis treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Monitor and assess patients: The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients during dialysis treatments, including vital signs, fluid intake and output, and potential complications.
  3. Administer medications: The Dialysis Technician may be responsible for administering medications as prescribed by the physician, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medication protocols.
  4. Maintain equipment: The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance.
  5. Educate patients: The Dialysis Technician will play a critical role in educating patients about their disease, treatment options, and self-care techniques to improve their overall health.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Dialysis Technician will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Dialysis Technician: Candidates For This Position Should Have Completed An Accredited Training Program And Hold A Valid Certification As A Dialysis Technician.

  • Knowledge Of Dialysis Equipment And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Equipment Used In Dialysis Treatment, As Well As The Procedures Involved In Administering Dialysis.
