As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a crucial role in the care and treatment of our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their dialysis sessions.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall condition before, during, and after dialysis sessions.
  3. Prepare and set up dialysis equipment, including machines, supplies, and medications, according to established protocols.
  4. Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the physician or supervising nurse.
  5. Monitor and adjust dialysis equipment settings to ensure proper function and patient comfort.
  6. Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, equipment, and self-care techniques.
  7. Document patient information and treatment data accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized dialysis environment, including disinfecting equipment and work areas.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout the dialysis process.
  13. Proactively identify and report any changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's mission and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations in regards to patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Hemodialysis Technician (Cht) Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The National Nephrology Certification Organization (Nnco) Or The Board Of Nephrology Examiners Nursing And Technology (Bonent).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Dialysis Technician In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Hemodialysis Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, Demonstrating Adaptability And Flexibility In Responding To Changing Patient Needs And Priorities.
