1. Lead and manage a team of nurses to provide exceptional patient care at all times.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high quality and efficient patient care.
3. Oversee and monitor the clinical performance of nurses to ensure adherence to standards and protocols.
4. Provide guidance and support to nurses in complex patient care situations.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to promote patient satisfaction.
7. Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate levels are available at all times.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agency standards.
9. Train and onboard new nurses, providing ongoing education and development opportunities for the team.
10. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance patient care and overall team performance.
11. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address any concerns or issues.
12. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to nurses on their performance.
