- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients with kidney disease in acute care settings.
- Administer life-sustaining dialysis treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and overall condition during dialysis treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, dialysis, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource and mentor to new dialysis nurses.
- Demonstrate compassionate and professional behavior at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with patient transportation, as needed.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
Current Rn License: A Valid And Active Registered Nurse License Is A Must-Have Qualification For An Acute Dialysis Rn At Davita Kidney Care. This Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Safe And Effective Care To Patients.
Dialysis Experience: Davita Kidney Care Seeks Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Dialysis Nursing. This Experience Should Include Working With Acute Dialysis Patients And Familiarity With The Equipment And Procedures Used In This Setting.
Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For Acute Dialysis Rns At Davita Kidney Care. This Certification Ensures That The Nurse Is Equipped To Handle Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions If Needed.
