- Provide specialized care to patients with kidney disease who require dialysis treatment in a hospital setting.
- Perform and monitor dialysis treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, treatment options, and self-management techniques.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, fluid balance, and other relevant data.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Recognize and respond to any changes in patient condition, taking appropriate action.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Valid Rn License: A Qualified Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse Must Possess A Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.
Experience In Acute Dialysis: Davita Kidney Care Seeks Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Acute Dialysis. This Experience Should Include Proficiency In Crrt, Sled, And/Or Acute Hemodialysis.
Strong Clinical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Kidney Disease And The Ability To Provide High-Quality Care To Acutely Ill Patients. This Includes Proficiency In Assessing, Monitoring, And Administering Medications And Treatments.
Team Player: As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide Optimal Patient Care. This Includes Effective Communication And The Ability To Adapt To Changing Situations.
Acls Certification: Davita Kidney Care Requires All Acute Dialysis Registered Nurses To Have Current Acls Certification. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Able To Respond Appropriately In Emergency Situations And Provide Advanced Life Support If Needed.
