  1. Provide high-quality acute dialysis services to patients with kidney disease.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patient's condition and response to treatment.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician.
  5. Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care.
  6. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current best practices and advancements in acute dialysis care.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new protocols.
  11. Provide emotional support and compassion to patients and their families during a difficult time.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their needs.
  14. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  15. Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
  16. Attend and participate in departmental and organizational meetings and trainings.
  17. Continuously evaluate and improve upon own nursing practice.
  18. Mentor and train new team members as needed.
  19. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing DaVita Kidney Care.
  20. Uphold the mission and values of DaVita Kidney Care in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working.

  • Dialysis Experience: A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Acute Dialysis Is Required For This Position.

  • Bls Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Strong Clinical Skills: A Strong Understanding Of Renal Physiology And The Ability To Perform Complex Assessments And Interventions In An Acute Dialysis Setting.

  • Teamwork And Communication: The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers Is Essential For This Role.
