- Provide high-quality acute dialysis services to patients with kidney disease.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and response to treatment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Stay up-to-date with current best practices and advancements in acute dialysis care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new protocols.
- Provide emotional support and compassion to patients and their families during a difficult time.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in departmental and organizational meetings and trainings.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon own nursing practice.
- Mentor and train new team members as needed.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing DaVita Kidney Care.
- Uphold the mission and values of DaVita Kidney Care in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Dialysis Experience: A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Acute Dialysis Is Required For This Position.
Bls Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association.
Strong Clinical Skills: A Strong Understanding Of Renal Physiology And The Ability To Perform Complex Assessments And Interventions In An Acute Dialysis Setting.
Teamwork And Communication: The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers Is Essential For This Role.
