- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients undergoing acute dialysis treatment.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient status before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure that their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in acute dialysis care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and assist with procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Practice.
Experience In Acute Dialysis: A Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working In Acute Dialysis Settings Is Typically Required For This Position.
Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association Is Essential For Providing Immediate Care To Patients In Emergency Situations.
Knowledge Of Dialysis Procedures And Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Dialysis Procedures And Be Familiar With The Equipment Used In Acute Dialysis Settings.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Acute Dialysis Nurses Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In Emergency Situations.
