
Front of House Manager

- Oversee and manage all front of house operations for campus events and activities.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all guests and attendees.
- Create and maintain schedules for front of house staff, including training and supervision.
- Monitor and maintain event budgets and expenses related to front of house operations.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and other campus departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies for front of house needs.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve front of house operations and customer service.
- Train and educate front of house staff on event procedures, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of Dartmouth College at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve front of house operations.
- Assist with event set-up and breakdown as needed.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for front of house needs.
- Conduct regular audits of front of house operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors or event coordinators.
Previous Experience In A Managerial Role: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Or Events Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Overseeing Operations, And Handling Customer Service Issues.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Front Of House Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Staff Members And Interacting With A Diverse Group Of Guests. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
