- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all athletic facilities at Dartmouth College.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the use and maintenance of athletic facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations related to athletic facilities.
- Manage the scheduling of athletic facilities for practices, games, and events.
- Coordinate with various departments, teams, and individuals to ensure smooth and efficient use of facilities.
- Develop and manage the budget for athletic facilities, including equipment purchases and maintenance costs.
- Hire, train, and supervise facility staff, including maintenance and janitorial personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they are safe and in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee the setup and breakdown of equipment and facilities for practices, games, and events.
- Collaborate with coaches and athletic staff to develop and maintain a high standard of facility cleanliness and appearance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in athletic facility management.
- Work with facilities management to address any maintenance or repair needs in a timely manner.
- Serve as a liaison between the athletics department and other campus departments to coordinate facility usage and maintenance.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Represent Dartmouth College and the athletics department in a professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Athletics Facilities And Operations Management At The Collegiate Level.
Strong Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations Regarding Facilities And Operations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Coaches, Staff, And External Partners.
Proven Leadership Abilities, With Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Large-Scale Projects And Events.
