  1. Oversee all aspects of sport administration within the athletics department, including budget management, scheduling, facility operations, and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall performance and success of Dartmouth's athletic teams.
  3. Collaborate with coaches, staff, and student-athletes to ensure a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the values of Dartmouth College.
  4. Hire, train, and manage a team of sports administrators and support staff to effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities.
  5. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and community members, to promote and support the athletics department.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in sports administration and implement new ideas and initiatives to improve the department's operations.
  7. Serve as a liaison between the athletics department and other departments at Dartmouth College, such as admissions and academic affairs, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  8. Develop and manage the department's budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses, and make strategic decisions to maximize resources.
  9. Ensure compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations, and oversee the submission of necessary reports and documentation.
  10. Represent Dartmouth College at conferences, meetings, and events related to sports administration, and maintain a professional and positive image for the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within Collegiate Athletics Administration.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations, As Well As Compliance Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Including Coaches, Student-Athletes, And University Administration.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Budget Management And Fundraising In An Athletic Department Setting.
