1. Coordinate and execute supply planning activities to ensure timely delivery of materials to production facilities.
2. Develop and maintain supply plans based on production schedules and inventory levels.
3. Communicate with suppliers to confirm availability of materials and negotiate delivery timelines.
4. Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential shortages or excesses.
5. Analyze and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure alignment of supply plans.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supply planning activities.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions that may impact supply planning.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, related to supply planning.
11. Train and mentor junior supply planning team members.
12. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that may arise.
13. Communicate supply chain updates and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
14. Act as a point of contact for any supply planning inquiries or issues.
15. Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process optimization within the supply chain.
