  1. Provide technical support and expertise to customers in the power generation industry.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with power generation equipment.
  3. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various power generation systems.
  4. Install and commission new power generation equipment.
  5. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for complex technical problems.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service requests and resolve any issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in power generation technology.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties.
  10. Represent Cummins in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  11. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
  12. Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
  13. Travel to customer sites as needed to perform service work.
  14. Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer and company expectations.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise In Power Generation Equipment: A Power Generation Field Service Technician At Cummins Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Technical Aspects Of Power Generation Equipment, Including Generators, Engines, And Control Systems.

  • Experience In Troubleshooting And Repair: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Diagnosing And Repairing Issues With Power Generation Equipment. This Includes Proficiency In Reading Schematics And Using Diagnostic Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Standards And Procedures: Working With Power Generation Equipment Can Be Dangerous, So A Power Generation Field Service Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Be Able To Follow Them Diligently.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Field Service Technician, You Will Be Interacting With Customers And Colleagues On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential To Succeed In This Role.
