  1. Perform on-site service and maintenance for Cummins' customers' equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment.
  3. Repair and replace parts as needed.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
  5. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  6. Keep accurate records of service performed and parts used.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  8. Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing Cummins.
  11. Identify and recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  14. Travel to various customer sites as needed.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  16. Meet and exceed performance targets and goals.
  17. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: The On Site Service Technician - Level Ii Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Cummins Products And Their Function, As Well As The Ability To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Diesel Engine Industry, Is Required For This Position. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Service And Repair Processes.

  • Customer Service Skills: The On Site Service Technician - Level Ii Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Provide High-Quality Service.   • Time Management: This Role Requires Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills To Effectively Juggle Multiple Service Requests And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment. The Ability To Work Under Pressure And Meet Tight Deadlines Is Crucial For Success In This Position.

  • Safety Awareness: Cummins Places A High Priority On Safety, And The On Site Service Technician - Level Ii Must Demonstrate A Strong Commitment To Following Safety Protocols And Procedures. This Includes Being Knowledgeable About Safety Regulations And Having The Ability To Identify And Address Potential Hazards In The Workplace.
