  1. Perform MIG welding tasks according to established procedures and quality standards.
  2. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  3. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  4. Inspect and troubleshoot welding equipment and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and quality standards.
  8. Continuously strive to improve welding skills and keep up with industry advancements and best practices.
  9. Communicate any issues or concerns related to welding tasks to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  10. Assist in training and mentoring new or less experienced welders.
  11. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including production reports and quality control documents.
  12. Participate in team meetings and provide suggestions for process improvements.
  13. Adhere to all Cummins' values and code of conduct.
  14. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  15. Meet all job-related requirements and expectations as set by the supervisor.

  • 3+ Years Of Experience In Mig Welding - To Be Considered For A Mig Welder Ii Position, Candidates Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Mig Welding. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With Welding Techniques And Can Perform The Job Efficiently.

  • Proficiency In Reading Blueprints And Welding Symbols - A Mig Welder Ii Should Have The Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Welding Symbols. This Is Important For Understanding The Specifications Of The Project And Ensuring The Accuracy Of The Welds.

  • Knowledge Of Welding Safety Protocols And Procedures - It Is Essential For A Mig Welder Ii To Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures In Welding. This Includes Knowledge Of Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) And Safe Handling Of Welding Equipment.

  • Ability To Work 3Rd Shift - This Position Specifically Requires The Ability To Work The 3Rd Shift, Which Typically Involves Working Overnight. Candidates Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Availability And Willingness To Work During These Hours.
