  1. Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  2. Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and quality.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise during the manufacturing process.
  5. Design and implement new production systems and equipment to meet changing business needs.
  6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  7. Train and mentor production employees on new processes and equipment.
  8. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
  11. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive process optimization and cost savings.
  12. Work closely with the 3rd shift team to ensure smooth operations and timely production.
  13. Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  15. Participate in project planning and execution to support new product launches and process improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering: A Manufacturing Engineer At Cummins Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Engineering To Understand The Complex Manufacturing Processes And Systems.

  • Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Environment: Cummins Requires Its Manufacturing Engineers To Have Hands-On Experience In A Manufacturing Setting, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Lean Manufacturing Techniques Such As 5S, Six Sigma, And Kaizen To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Waste In The Production Process.

  • Ability To Work Independently: As A 3Rd Shift Manufacturing Engineer, The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Autonomously And Make Critical Decisions To Ensure Smooth Operations During The Night Shift.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Manufacturing Engineer At Cummins Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Identify And Troubleshoot Production Issues, Implement Corrective Actions, And Continuously Improve Processes.
