
Machining Industrial Electrician - 3rd Shift

- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment used in machining operations
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly
- Following all safety protocols and procedures while working on electrical equipment
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in equipment and processes and making recommendations to management
- Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency
- Training and mentoring new team members on electrical maintenance and repair procedures
- Communicating effectively with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Experience In Industrial Electrical Maintenance: A Qualified Machining Industrial Electrician Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Electrical Maintenance In An Industrial Setting, Preferably Within The Machining Industry. This Includes Experience In Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining Electrical Systems, Equipment, And Machinery.
Proficiency In Electrical Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical Systems, Including Ac/Dc Circuits, Motor Controls, Plcs, And Electrical Schematics. They Should Also Possess The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Blueprints, And Diagrams.
Knowledge Of Safe Work Practices: Working With Electricity Can Be Dangerous, So It Is Essential For A Machining Industrial Electrician To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols, Including Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Electrical Hazard Identification, And Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) Requirements.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Machining Industrial Electrician, The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Complex Electrical Problems Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Analytical Mind, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Think Critically To Identify And Resolve Issues In A Timely Manner.
Flexibility And Teamwork: The 3Rd Shift For This Role May Involve Working Alone Or In A Small Team, So The Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Work Well With Others. They Should Also Be Willing To Work Overtime And Be Available For On-Call Duties As Needed. Strong Communication Skills And A Positive Attitude Are Also Essential For Collaborating With Other Team Members And Departments.
