- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental sustainability throughout the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HSE issues, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in HSE to continuously improve the company's HSE program.
- Monitor and analyze HSE data to identify trends and develop strategies for reducing incidents and improving performance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in the development and review of project plans and designs to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of project execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HSE regulatory agencies and manage all HSE-related reporting and documentation.
- Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce the company's environmental impact.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for incidents and near misses, and develop corrective and preventative actions.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as contractors and suppliers, to ensure their compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the company's HSE performance and progress towards goals.
- Act as a change agent by identifying opportunities for HSE improvements and driving initiatives to create a safer and more sustainable work environment.
- Represent the company in HSE meetings, conferences, and events to stay current on industry trends and best practices and promote the company's HSE program.
Extensive Knowledge Of Health, Safety, And Environmental Regulations: A Senior Health, Safety And Environmental Project Specialist At Cummins Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Workplace Safety And Environmental Protection.
