As an HSE Engineer, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout our organization. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to health, safety, and environment.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs on health, safety, and environmental practices to employees at all levels of the organization.
  5. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for prevention.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current industry standards and best practices in health, safety, and environmental engineering and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and the community in case of an emergency.
  8. Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for appropriate control measures to minimize risks to employees and the environment.
  9. Collaborate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other external partners to ensure compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to employees and management on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  11. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  12. Monitor and analyze health, safety, and environmental performance metrics and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for health, safety, and environmental programs and initiatives.
  14. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies for all health, safety, and environmental matters.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  16. Champion a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Health, Safety And Environment Engineer Onsite Must Have A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles To Understand And Assess Potential Hazards And Risks In The Workplace.

  • Certification In Occupational Health And Safety: A Recognized Certification, Such As A Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health And Safety Technician (Ohst), Demonstrates The Engineer's Knowledge And Expertise In Creating And Implementing Safety Protocols.

  • Knowledge Of Local And Federal Safety Regulations: An Hse Engineer Must Be Well-Versed In The Safety Laws And Regulations Of The Country And State Where They Will Be Working To Ensure Compliance And Avoid Any Legal Issues.

  • Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Safety Plans: The Engineer Should Have Experience In Identifying Potential Hazards And Developing Strategies To Mitigate Them. This Includes Creating Emergency Response Plans And Conducting Regular Safety Inspections.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Hse Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For Training Employees On Safety Protocols And Communicating Any Updates Or Changes. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Important Information To All Levels Of The Organization. Additionally, The Engineer Must Have The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Teams And Build Strong Relationships With Stakeholders To Promote A Culture Of Safety.
