- Conduct research and stay updated on current ethical and compliance regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the Ethics and Compliance team to assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Communicate with employees at all levels of the organization to promote ethical practices and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of training sessions and materials on ethics and compliance topics.
- Conduct audits and investigations to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on compliance metrics and trends.
- Identify potential areas of risk and work with the team to develop strategies for mitigation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance-related activities.
- Provide support to employees who have compliance-related questions or concerns.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to promote a culture of integrity and ethics.
- Represent the company at external events and conferences related to ethics and compliance.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the company's ethics and compliance program.
- Uphold high ethical standards and serve as a role model for others in the organization.

Strong Understanding Of Ethical Principles: A Qualified Ethics And Compliance Intern At Cummins Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Ethical Principles And Values, As Well As The Ability To Apply Them In A Professional Setting.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role, As The Intern Will Be Required To Interact With Various Stakeholders, Including Employees, Managers, And External Partners.
Attention To Detail: This Position Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail, As The Intern Will Be Responsible For Reviewing And Analyzing Company Policies, Procedures, And Reports For Compliance With Ethical Standards.
Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills: The Intern Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Information, Identify Potential Compliance Issues, And Provide Practical Solutions To Address Them.
Knowledge Of Compliance Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Compliance Regulations And Laws, Such As The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (Fcpa) And The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Sox), Is Essential For This Role. Familiarity With Industry-Specific Regulations Is Also A Plus.
