- Communicate with potential candidates about the Service Parts Associate position through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen and review resumes to identify qualified candidates for the position.
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews for selected candidates.
- Work closely with the DOD SkillBridge program to ensure compliance and eligibility of candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to determine the best fit for the position.
- Provide support and guidance to candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct background and reference checks on potential hires.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires, including explaining company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and hiring process.
- Collaborate with the Service Parts team to ensure a smooth and successful integration of new hires.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to attract top talent.
- Represent Cummins and the Service Parts Associate position at job fairs and other recruiting events.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state employment laws.

Knowledge Of Dod Supply Chain: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Department Of Defense (Dod) Supply Chain Processes And Procedures, Including Procurement, Inventory Management, And Distribution.
Technical Aptitude: As A Service Parts Associate, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Tracking A Wide Variety Of Technical Parts. Therefore, Proficiency In Reading Technical Manuals And Schematics, As Well As Familiarity With Various Computer Systems And Software, Is A Must.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail, As They Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records And Ensuring Parts Are Correctly Labeled And Stored. This Is Critical To Ensuring Timely And Accurate Delivery Of Parts To Customers.
