  1. Perform maintenance and repair tasks on power generation equipment for military and civilian clients.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with power generation systems.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and identify potential issues.
  4. Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely and effective solutions.
  5. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for customers.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  8. Keep accurate records of service and maintenance work performed.
  9. Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
  10. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  11. Contribute to team meetings and provide insights and suggestions for process improvements.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  13. Adhere to project timelines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
  14. Assist in the training and mentoring of new technicians.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Power Generation Systems, Including Diesel And Natural Gas Engines, Generators, And Associated Control Systems.

  • Experience In Military Power Generation: Candidates Should Possess A Minimum Of 4 Years Of Experience In Military Power Generation, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Maintenance And Repair Of Power Generation Equipment.

  • Familiarity With Dod Standards And Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Dod Regulations, Procedures, And Safety Protocols Is Crucial For This Role, As The Technician Will Be Working On Military Bases And Installations.

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: The Power Generation Technician Should Be Able To Quickly Identify And Diagnose Equipment Issues, And Develop Effective Solutions To Resolve Them.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As They Will Be Working Closely With Other Technicians, Engineers, And Cummins Customers To Complete Projects And Achieve Common Goals. A Positive Attitude And Ability To Work Well Under Pressure Are Also Essential.
