  4. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform complex repairs and installations.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Training: A Qualified Diesel Technician At Cummins Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent And Completion Of A Vocational Or Technical Training Program In Diesel Mechanics.

  • Experience In Diesel Engine Repair: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Diesel Engine Repair, Preferably With Cummins Engines. This Includes Knowledge Of Diagnostic Tools And Software, Engine Systems, And Troubleshooting Techniques.

  • Strong Mechanical And Technical Skills: A Diesel Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Diesel Engine Systems And Components, As Well As Experience With Engine Maintenance And Repair Procedures. They Should Also Possess Strong Mechanical And Technical Skills To Effectively Diagnose And Resolve Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Working With Diesel Engines Can Be Hazardous, So A Diesel Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Be Able To Follow Them Diligently. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Equipment, Handling Hazardous Materials, And Proper Use Of Tools And Equipment.
