  1. Conduct thorough inspections and testing of camshafts to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications.
  2. Perform set-up and operation of machinery and equipment, including CNC machines.
  3. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other production documents.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities and results.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  8. Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  9. Continuously monitor and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and make any necessary adjustments.
  10. Attend training and development programs to stay updated on industry advancements and improve technical skills.
  11. Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to provide updates on production progress and any issues that may arise.
  13. Act as a role model for quality and efficiency standards, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  14. Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for streamlining production processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Engine Systems: A Cam Line Technician At Cummins Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Engine Systems And Their Components, Including Camshafts, Valves, And Cam Followers. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Diagnosing And Troubleshooting Issues With Cam Lines.

  • Teamwork And Communication: Working As Part Of A Larger Production Team, Cam Line Technicians Must Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Colleagues.
