  1. Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  3. Utilize advanced technical knowledge to operate specialized equipment and machinery.
  4. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and organized warehouse processes.
  5. Conduct regular Quality Control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
  6. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  7. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
  8. Train and mentor new warehouse employees on proper procedures and equipment operation.
  9. Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
  11. Keep detailed records of inventory, orders, and shipments using warehouse management software.
  12. Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  13. Handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  14. Continuously monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.
  15. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technology.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Warehouse Management Software: As An Advanced Warehouse Operator At Cummins, You Will Be Responsible For Managing Inventory Levels, Tracking Shipments, And Maintaining Accurate Records Using Warehouse Management Software. Therefore, Proficiency In Using Such Software Is A Must-Have Qualification For This Role.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: As An Advanced Warehouse Operator, You Will Be Required To Oversee The Daily Operations Of The Warehouse, Including Receiving, Storing, And Shipping Goods. This Role Also Involves Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records And Ensuring The Warehouse Is Well-Organized. Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential To Successfully Handle These Responsibilities.

  • Experience In Operating Material Handling Equipment: Cummins' Warehouse Operations Involve The Use Of Various Material Handling Equipment, Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Hand Trucks. As An Advanced Warehouse Operator, You Will Be Expected To Have Experience In Operating Such Equipment, Along With A Valid Certification.

  • Attention To Detail: In A Busy Warehouse Environment, Even The Smallest Mistake Can Have Significant Consequences. Hence, Attention To Detail Is A Critical Qualification For An Advanced Warehouse Operator At Cummins. This Includes Accurately Identifying Products, Tracking Inventory Levels, And Maintaining Records.

  • Ability To Work In A Team: As A Part Of Cummins' Warehouse Team, You Will Be Required To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members To Achieve Common Goals. This Includes Coordinating With Other Operators, Supervisors, And Logistics Personnel To Ensure Efficient Warehouse Operations. Therefore, The Ability To Work In A Team Is An Essential Qualification For This Role.
