- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex diesel engines and power systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and changes in technology to ensure best practices are being followed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of work
- Work independently and efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Continuously strive for excellence and take ownership of all work performed
- Mentor and train junior technicians as needed
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Extensive Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Thorough Knowledge And Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Electronic Systems, As Well As Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing Complex Equipment.
Relevant Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Related Field Is Required For This Position. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Completing Complex Repair And Maintenance Tasks.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Analyze And Solve Technical Issues Efficiently And Effectively, Often Under Tight Time Constraints.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Possess A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Address Potential Problems Before They Escalate Into Larger Issues.
