Coordinates and supports supply chain management of key products. Works with Supplier Quality Engineering to qualify sources and monitor performance. Administers awarded subcontract purchase orders in accordance with subcontract terms and conditions, and program needs; acts as liaison between using departments and suppliers regarding requirements, specifications, quality and delivery dates. Responds to contract manufacturer inquiries, providing timely information and resolution of exceptions. Develops and maintains all necessary weekly and monthly reports associated with assigned task. Supports department goals for minimum vendor delinquencies, timely purchase requisition placement, timely processing of rejections, and cost estimating proposals. Assists Business Development, Material Cost Estimating, Contracts and other departments, as requested, to develop proposals for new business.
