  1. Conduct financial audits for government agencies and non-profit organizations to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
  2. Review and analyze financial statements and records to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  3. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with clients to address any issues or concerns identified during the audit process.
  5. Utilize knowledge of auditing principles and best practices to guide and mentor junior team members.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with current standards.
  7. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of audits.
  8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
  9. Assist in developing and implementing procedures to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Public Sector Accounting And Auditing Standards, Including Gaap And Gasb.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Auditing For Public Sector Clients, Preferably At A Big 4 Or Large Regional Accounting Firm.

  • Cpa Certification Or Equivalent, With A Strong Understanding Of Audit Methodology And Risk Assessment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Clients And Team Members At All Levels.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Manage Multiple Engagements Simultaneously.
