  1. Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in the government and not-for-profit sectors.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  3. Provide guidance and direction to audit team members, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of work.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans to address key areas of risk for clients.
  5. Review and analyze financial statements and other relevant documents to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.
  7. Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  8. Collaborate with other teams within the firm to provide clients with comprehensive and integrated services.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in public sector auditing.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Cpa Certification: A Senior Audit Manager At Crowe Must Hold A Valid Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) License. This Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Standards, As Well As A Commitment To Ethical And Professional Conduct.

  • Extensive Experience In Public Sector Auditing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Auditing Public Sector Entities, Such As Government Agencies, Educational Institutions, Or Non-Profit Organizations. This Experience Should Include Managing Complex Audits And Leading Teams.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Senior Audit Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Auditors And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, They Must Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Feedback, And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Public Sector Regulations: The Senior Audit Manager Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements For Public Sector Entities. This Includes Knowledge Of Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book), Omb Circulars, And Other Relevant Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Client Relationship Management: Effective Communication Skills Are Essential For A Senior Audit Manager. They Must Be Able To Clearly Communicate Complex Audit Findings To Clients And Provide Recommendations For Improvement. They Should Also Have Experience Managing Client Relationships And Maintaining A High Level Of Customer Satisfaction.
