- Conduct thorough reviews of financial transactions and accounts to identify potential cases of money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes.
- Analyze large amounts of complex financial data to identify patterns and anomalies that could indicate suspicious activity.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to financial crime prevention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procedures and controls to prevent financial crime.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on findings from financial crime reviews.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss findings and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Monitor and track suspicious activity reports and ensure timely reporting to appropriate authorities.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on financial crime prevention strategies and protocols.
- Use data analysis tools and techniques to streamline and improve the financial crime review process.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement in current financial crime prevention processes and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Stay updated on emerging financial crime trends and provide insights and recommendations to the team and clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on financial crime prevention and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the company's reputation for excellence in financial crime prevention.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Financial Crime Investigations Or Compliance
Knowledge Of Aml/Bsa Regulations And Laws, Including Kyc And Sar Filing Requirements
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Potential Financial Crimes
Excellent Communication And Report Writing Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Findings To Clients And Stakeholders.
