Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Principal (Partner) to join our team at Crowe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful risk management, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders. The Credit Risk Principal (Partner) will be responsible for developing and managing the credit risk framework and process across the organization.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services with a focus on credit risk management and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role. They will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field and a Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. We are looking for a candidate who is innovative, detail-oriented, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage the credit risk framework and process across the organization.
  2. Analyze existing credit risk management practices and identify potential areas of improvement.
  3. Monitor and analyze credit risk trends and recommend strategies to mitigate risks.
  4. Work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure that credit risk policies and procedures are effective and being properly implemented.
  5. Develop effective reports and other materials to clearly communicate credit risk findings and recommendations.
  6. Train and mentor staff members on credit risk management practices and policies.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of credit risk management teams and ensure that goals and objectives are being met.
  8. Maintain current knowledge of financial regulations, industry trends, and best practices related to credit risk management.
  9. Provide guidance and direction to junior members of the credit risk management team.
