Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong client relationships while providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Lead a team of tax professionals in the preparation and review of cannabis tax returns and planning strategies.
  3. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  4. Develop and execute cannabis tax plans and strategies for clients.
  5. Identify opportunities to minimize tax liability for clients.
  6. Monitor changes in the cannabis industry and assess the impact on clients.
  7. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  8. Lead client meetings and develop presentations on cannabis tax topics.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on tax planning and compliance.
  10. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
