Job Description

  1. Manage Billing and Collections Processes: The Billing & Collections Analyst will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the billing and collections process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Analyze Financial Data: This individual will be responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the billing and collections process.
  3. Develop Billing and Collections Strategies: The Billing & Collections Analyst will use their financial expertise to develop effective billing and collections strategies that drive successful outcomes.
  4. Maintain Client Relationships: This role will require strong communication skills to maintain positive relationships with clients and address any billing or collections inquiries.
  5. Ensure Timely and Accurate Billing: The Billing & Collections Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all client invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor and Manage Collections: This individual will be responsible for monitoring and managing collections, working with clients to resolve any outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.
  7. Collaborate with Team Members: The Billing & Collections Analyst will collaborate with other team members, including accountants and financial analysts, to ensure a smooth and efficient billing and collections process.
  8. Provide Reporting and Analysis: This individual will be responsible for providing regular reporting and analysis on billing and collections performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for process enhancements.
  9. Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: The Billing & Collections Analyst will stay informed on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into their work to drive continuous improvement.
  10. Uphold Data Privacy and Security: As part of their responsibilities, the Billing & Collections Analyst will uphold data privacy and security standards to protect sensitive financial information.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Clients And Internal Teams.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Billing And Collections, Preferably In A Professional Services Or Consulting Firm Setting.

  • Proficiency In Using Financial And Accounting Software, Such As Quickbooks, Sap, Or Oracle.

  • Strong Understanding Of Billing And Collections Processes, Including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, And Cash Application.

  • Bachelor’s Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field, With A Strong Academic Record. Cpa Certification Or Other Relevant Professional Certifications Preferred.
