Desktop Support Technician

Provide IT support for all employees, both in-house and field personnel. Respond to incoming technical support requests in a timely, courteous, professional manner. Provide afterhours support for traveling users and resources based in various time zones. Provision, configure, and maintain equipment, including laptops, desktops, phones, mobile devices, audio/visual equipment, and assorted peripherals. Monitor PC configuration via the Helpdesk software; ensure that all PCs are correctly patched. Develop processes and procedures for administering PC environment. Active member of the IT department and will participate in additional technology initiatives as required, such as assisting with server and network upgrades, office moves, technology rollouts, and onsite/offsite meeting coordination. Track assets such as desktop PCs, laptops, and peripheral equipment, including replacement, repair, and disposal.
