We are currently seeking a highly experienced Systems Architect to join our eCommerce Website Development team. As a Systems Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing the technology solutions that power our online shopping experience.   1. Design and implement technology solutions for Costco Wholesale's eCommerce website.
  2. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in eCommerce and systems architecture.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize project requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Costco's eCommerce business processes and systems.
  5. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues in the eCommerce system architecture.
  6. Continuously improve and optimize the eCommerce system architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  8. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  9. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of eCommerce systems to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  10. Document and communicate system architecture designs, decisions, and changes to relevant parties.
  11. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the eCommerce system.
  12. Keep track of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring they are completed within the specified timeframes.
  13. Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the eCommerce system architecture.
  14. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  15. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate their systems with Costco's eCommerce platform.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology Or A Related Field. A Strong Educational Background In Computer Science And Software Development Is Essential For A Systems Architect Role.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Ecommerce Website Development. Costco Wholesale Is A Large And Complex Organization, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Significant Experience In Developing And Maintaining Ecommerce Websites.

  • Expertise In Various Programming Languages And Web Development Frameworks. The Systems Architect Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Like Java, Javascript, And Html, As Well As Have A Deep Understanding Of Web Development Frameworks Like React, Angular, Or Vue.

  • Proven Experience In Designing And Implementing Scalable And Secure Ecommerce Systems. Costco's Ecommerce Website Must Be Able To Handle A High Volume Of Traffic And Transactions While Maintaining The Security Of Customer Data. The Systems Architect Must Have A Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Such Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills. The Systems Architect Will Be Working With A Diverse Team Of Developers, Designers, And Business Stakeholders.
