1. Maintain stock levels: Regularly monitor inventory levels and restock shelves to ensure all products are readily available for customers.
2. Organize and arrange products: Keep the store organized and visually appealing by arranging products in a neat and orderly manner.
3. Stock rotation: Ensure that older products are brought to the front and newer products are placed at the back, following the first-in-first-out (FIFO) method.
4. Check for damaged products: Inspect products for any damages or defects and remove them from the shelves to maintain quality standards.
5. Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries: Work with the receiving team to unload and unpack new shipments, and ensure that all products are accurately accounted for.
6. Label products: Label products with accurate pricing and information to assist customers with their purchases.
7. Help with inventory management: Participate in inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate stock levels.
8. Provide exceptional customer service: Greet customers, answer their questions, and assist them in finding products or locating specific items.
9. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines while stocking products to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment for customers.
10. Collaborate with team members: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work area: Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
12. Continuously improve processes: Identify areas for improvement in stock management and suggest solutions to optimize processes.
13. Uphold company standards: Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold all company policies and procedures.
14. Train new team members: Assist in training new stockers on company procedures and best practices.
15. Handle customer complaints: Address and resolve any customer complaints regarding stock availability or product placement.
