- Conduct hearing tests and evaluations for members to determine the appropriate hearing aid solution for their needs.
- Recommend and fit hearing aids based on individual needs, preferences, and budget.
- Provide education and counseling to members on hearing loss, hearing aid use, and maintenance.
- Stay current on the latest audiology technology and trends to best serve our members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of hearing aid services provided.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for members.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in audiology practice.
- Act as a resource and mentor for other hearing aid specialists within the team.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure member satisfaction and retention.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the hearing aid program at Costco Wholesale.
- Participate in promotional events and outreach efforts to educate the community about hearing loss and hearing aid services.
- Adhere to Costco Wholesale's policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Handle member complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Attend training sessions and conferences to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment for members and colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Continuously strive to uphold the highest standards of quality and excellence in hearing aid services.
- Display a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Costco Wholesale in a favorable manner.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Hearing Aid Specialist.
Bachelor's Degree In Audiology Or A Related Field.
Certified By The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha) Or The American Board Of Audiology (Aba).
Strong Knowledge Of Hearing Aid Technology And Ability To Conduct Comprehensive Hearing Evaluations.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Assist Customers In Selecting The Best Hearing Aid Options For Their Needs.
