SDET - Membership IT

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Membership IT team at Costco Wholesale. Our ideal candidate has a passion for technology and a proven track record in software quality assurance and test automation. If you are highly organized and have great communication skills, you could be the perfect fit for this role!The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in software testing and automated test development. You should also have a deep understanding of software architecture and development, and be able to effectively translate business requirements into automated test cases. Experience with test automation frameworks and version control systems is also required. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scenarios for our Membership IT applications. 1. Design, develop, and execute automated test scenarios for Membership IT applications.
2. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and version control systems.
3. Analyze system requirements and translate into automated test cases.
4. Monitor and evaluate the quality of software applications throughout the development process.
5. Provide technical assistance to software developers and other stakeholders.
6. Track and document software defects and resolution.
7. Participate in software design and code reviews.
8. Perform manual testing when needed.
9. Keep up to date with the latest trends in software testing and automation.
10. Troubleshoot and debug software applications.
