- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement within merchandising processes
- Utilize knowledge of Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) to assess and improve the efficiency and accuracy of merchandising procedures
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards
- Conduct thorough analyses to identify potential risks and develop solutions to prevent or mitigate them
- Monitor and track quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Communicate and report on quality issues and progress to management and other teams
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality products are delivered to Costco
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of merchandising processes and procedures
- Train and educate team members on quality assurance principles and best practices
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in BPMS to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Quality Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Quality Engineering Or Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Or Consumer Goods Environment
Strong Understanding Of Quality Management Principles And Methodologies, Including Six Sigma, Iso, And Lean
Proficiency In Bpms (Business Process Management System) Tools And Software, With Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Quality Control Processes
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives In A Fast-Paced Environment.
