Quality Engineer - Application Security

- Investigate and respond to any security incidents or breaches, and take appropriate actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain documentation of security procedures and guidelines for applications.
- Train and educate other team members on security best practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to ensure the highest level of security for our applications.
- Communicate security risks and concerns to key stakeholders and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and make recommendations for enhancing security controls.
- Monitor and track security incidents and provide timely reporting to leadership.
- Continuously analyze and improve existing security processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of protection for our customers' information.
- Act as a subject matter expert for application security and provide guidance and support to other team members as needed.
Strong Knowledge Of Application Security Principles: A Quality Engineer At Costco Wholesale Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Security Principles And Techniques Such As Secure Coding Practices, Threat Modeling, Risk Assessment, And Vulnerability Management.
Experience With Security Testing Tools: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience With Security Testing Tools Like Static Code Analysis, Dynamic Application Security Testing, And Penetration Testing Tools.
Understanding Of Compliance And Regulatory Requirements: A Quality Engineer Must Be Familiar With Compliance Standards Such As Pci Dss, Hipaa, And Gdpr To Ensure That Costco Wholesale's Applications Meet All Necessary Security Requirements.
Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: As A Quality Engineer, One Must Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Security Issues And Provide Effective Solutions To Mitigate Potential Risks.
