- Operate various types of power equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition before use and report any malfunctions or issues to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Transport and stack merchandise and materials in a timely and organized manner, following warehouse layout and instructions.
- Receive and understand work orders, picking lists, and other documents related to daily tasks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to management.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance, such as oiling and cleaning, as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and storage spaces.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as necessary to stay updated on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Follow all company and industry regulations and guidelines for operating power equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience Operating Various Types Of Power Equipment, Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Scissor Lifts.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures For Operating Power Equipment In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting.
Ability To Read And Interpret Equipment Manuals And Safety Guidelines To Ensure Proper Operation.
Strong Physical Stamina And Dexterity To Handle Heavy Equipment And Perform Repetitive Tasks.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Coordinate With Other Employees And Ensure Efficient And Safe Movement Of Merchandise.
