Responsibilities for this job description may include:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain the Dynamics365 F&O platform for Costco Wholesale's merchandising operations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Dynamics365 F&O platform.
  4. Implement and maintain integrations with other systems and applications.
  5. Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Dynamics365 F&O to continuously improve and enhance the platform.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation for the Dynamics365 F&O platform.
  8. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support and guidance.
  9. Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to the Dynamics365 F&O platform.
  11. Mentor and train other team members on the Dynamics365 F&O platform and related technologies.
  12. Contribute to the overall IT strategy and roadmap for the merchandising department.
  13. Ensure compliance with security and data privacy policies and regulations.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and positively represent Costco Wholesale to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Dynamics365 F&O Platform: A Platform Engineer For Dynamics365 F&O At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Platform And Its Capabilities, Including Integration With Other Systems And Modules.

  • Extensive Experience With It Merchandising Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With It Merchandising Systems, Preferably In A Retail Or Wholesale Environment. This Includes Experience With System Implementation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Scripting: The Role Requires Strong Programming Skills, Especially In C#, .Net, And Sql. In Addition, Knowledge Of Scripting Languages Such As Powershell And Python Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Project Management Skills: A Platform Engineer At Costco Wholesale Should Have Experience Managing Projects Related To System Upgrades, Implementations, And Enhancements. This Includes Creating Project Plans, Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Project Milestones.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ability To Analyze Complex Technical Issues And Provide Effective Solutions Is Crucial For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Troubleshoot System Issues, Identify Root Causes, And Implement Appropriate Fixes To Ensure System Stability And Performance.
