1. Assist certified pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with members in a friendly and professional manner.
3. Accurately input and maintain patient information and prescription records in the pharmacy system.
4. Assist in inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and stocking medication supplies.
5. Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
6. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.
7. Respond to member inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
8. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy operations and patient confidentiality.
9. Participate in ongoing training and education programs to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.
10. Collaborate with other pharmacy team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Costco brand and values.
12. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy.
13. Keep abreast of new medications and their uses, as well as any updates or changes in regulations and laws pertaining to the pharmacy field.
14. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by pharmacy management.
