Pharmacy Technician

1. Assist Pharmacists in fulfilling prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
2. Maintain an organized and clean work environment to ensure the safety and quality of medications.
3. Provide excellent customer service to members by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing medication consultations.
4. Accurately input and maintain patient information and prescription records in the pharmacy system.
5. Prepare and label medications for dispensing and ensure proper storage and handling.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication therapy management.
7. Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
8. Adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.
9. Continuously update and expand knowledge of medications, diseases, and treatments through training and education opportunities.
10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
11. Assist in training and mentoring new Pharmacy Technicians.
12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the team in achieving department goals.
13. Communicate effectively with both internal team members and external customers.
14. Remain updated on industry developments and new technologies related to pharmacy operations.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
