  3. Process insurance claims and assist with billing and payment processes.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to members, addressing any questions or concerns.
  5. Accurately label and package medications for distribution.
  6. Maintain proper inventory levels and order necessary supplies.
  7. Follow all federal and state laws and regulations regarding the handling and dispensing of medications.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  9. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
  11. Identify and report any errors or discrepancies in medication orders.
  12. Monitor and manage expiration dates of medications.
  13. Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment.
  14. Keep accurate records of all medications dispensed and assist with inventory audits.
  15. Communicate effectively with other pharmacy team members to ensure smooth operations.
  16. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
  17. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  18. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  19. Attend and actively participate in team meetings.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program: Candidates Should Possess A Certificate Or Associate's Degree From A Recognized Pharmacy Technician Program. This Ensures That They Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmaceutical Terminology, Medication Dosages, And Drug Interactions.

  • State Licensure Or Certification: In Addition To Completing A Pharmacy Technician Program, Candidates Should Also Hold A Valid State License Or Certification. This Demonstrates That They Have Met The Necessary Requirements And Have Passed A Comprehensive Exam To Practice As A Pharmacy Technician.

Candidates Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Customers And Healthcare Professionals, And Handle Customer Inquiries And Concerns With Tact And Professionalism.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Pharmacy Technicians Are Responsible For Filling Prescriptions And Preparing Medications Accurately. This Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And The Ability To Follow Instructions Carefully. Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Organizational Skills To Maintain Proper Records And Inventory Management.
