1. Assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
2. Maintain accurate and organized records of all prescriptions and patient information.
3. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from members regarding prescription orders.
4. Process insurance claims and communicate with insurance companies as needed.
5. Maintain inventory and order supplies to ensure medications are always in stock.
6. Provide excellent customer service to members, addressing any questions or concerns.
7. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
8. Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
9. Continuously update knowledge of pharmaceutical products and procedures to ensure accurate and current information.
10. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the pharmacy department.
11. Assist in training new pharmacy technicians and providing guidance and support to other team members.
12. Proactively identify and address any issues or concerns related to prescription orders or customer interactions.
13. Collaborate with other departments, such as the front-end team, to ensure a seamless and positive member experience.
14. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
15. Participate in regular team meetings and actively contribute ideas for improving processes and services.
