1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to members in a timely manner, following all safety protocols and procedures.
2. Assisting Pharmacists: The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, answering member questions, and solving any issues that may arise.
3. Maintaining Inventory: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ordering medications and supplies as needed, and ensuring all medications are within their expiration dates.
4. Insurance Processing: The Pharmacy Technician will process insurance claims and assist members with insurance-related inquiries.
5. Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Our Pharmacy Technicians are expected to provide exceptional customer service to all members, ensuring a positive experience and building trust and loyalty.
6. Ensuring Accuracy: It is the responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician to ensure all medication orders are accurate and complete, and to report any errors or discrepancies to the pharmacist.
7. Adhering to Regulations: The Pharmacy Technician must follow all federal, state, and company regulations and guidelines regarding the handling and dispensing of medications.
8. Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as following all safety protocols to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
9. Collaborating with Team Members: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with other team members, such as pharmacists and other technicians, to ensure efficient and effective operations of the pharmacy.
10. Continuous Learning: The Pharmacy Technician will be expected to stay up-to-date on industry developments, attend training and educational opportunities, and continuously expand their knowledge and skills.
