- Process prescription refill requests and transfer calls to the appropriate pharmacist.
- Update and maintain member profiles and medication records in the pharmacy system.
- Assist with insurance billing and claims processing.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and accurate service.
- Educate members on medication usage, potential side effects, and other important information.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or concerns raised by members.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude to enhance the member experience.
- Continuously update knowledge of new medications and pharmacy technology.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Tech Phone Agent At Costco Wholesale Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Pharmacy Technician Certification: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification From A Recognized Institution.
Previous Customer Service Experience: Prior Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Pharmacy Or Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable For This Job.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Terminology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations And Terminology, Including Knowledge Of Different Medications And Their Uses.
