- Accurately and efficiently process prescriptions and insurance information.
- Assist in managing inventory and stocking shelves with medication and other pharmacy products.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Proactively communicate with members about prescription refills and other important information.
- Educate members on the benefits and proper use of medications.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Continuously update knowledge of pharmacy operations, products, and procedures.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.
- Provide support to the pharmacist in filling and dispensing medication.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of medications.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards members and colleagues.
Previous Experience In A Retail Or Pharmacy Setting, Preferably In A Customer Service Role.
Familiarity With Pharmacy Operations, Such As Prescription Processing And Inventory Management.
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Provide Excellent Customer Service.
Knowledge Of Basic Medical Terminology And Understanding Of Common Prescription Medications.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays, As The Position May Require.
