1. Greet and welcome customers to the pharmacy department in a friendly and professional manner.

3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that shelves are properly stocked and products are displayed in an appealing manner.
4. Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all safety and legal guidelines.
5. Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of prescriptions.
6. Handle cash and credit transactions in a secure and responsible manner, following all company policies and procedures.
7. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including inventory management, medication ordering, and record-keeping.
8. Educate customers on the proper use and storage of medications, as well as potential side effects and drug interactions.
9. Continuously update knowledge of products, services, and industry trends to provide the best possible service to customers.
10. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
11. Assist in promoting health and wellness by recommending over-the-counter products and services.
12. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the pharmacy manager if necessary.
13. Comply with all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
14. Attend and participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
15. Adhere to all Costco Wholesale policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
